He’ll likely become my B team denier in wars with light requirements, at least until I can get Elvira but it would take a lot of cells & a couple of X ruins to make him better than my Gakora at giving my attackers the opportunity they need to get the job done. I only got him ranked recently thanks to him being in monsterwood cells there, so I’ve taken off his gold & ruined him up with speed for battle. There’s no denying how potent the Al & Burgator combo can be if Al can get off first. Perhaps he’s gone from underrated to a bit overrated as his bandwagon gets overcrowded but there is plenty of solid reason for it. Cooldowns activated, blind & torture skills like sunburn are more valuable now than ever so there is certainly legitimacy to why his stock has gone up so much in the last 6 months. That being said, the “recently stunned/frozen/posessed” updates have increased the value of his versatility. I barely use mine because he’s only 105 and my 115 Gakora is normally my go to light, with Demise & Bella being long time personal favourites for B teams and the goal of adding Elvira at some point.
